Admiral Peary BOTS competition
National competition results:
Our Crusader team won the $5,000 prize for winning the Craftsman sponsored rumble event on Friday. On Saturday, luck wasn’t on our side, but still had a great showing. Our teams had to face each other and Nightmare beat Crusader to end up in 5th place out of 62 teams. Admiral Peary also won the 3D printing award, and are receiving a new 3D printer valued at $600. Our students did an outstanding job once again, and I am very proud of them. Huge thank you to Dave Claycomb and Reece Deist for all the help and support. Click here to see some of the battle action! Finals Competition results:
Just wanted to let everyone know that out of 80 teams participating this year at our 12th annual BotsIQ competition at California U. of PA over the weekend, Admiral Peary’s two teams finished in 1st and 2nd place!! The teams never lost one match to another school, and our one team, Crusader remains undefeated for the year. We received a $1,000 check and will be attending the National Robotics League competition on May 19th and 20th for a chance to win more prize money. Our school also won the Best Sportsmanship Award as well. As always our kids did an outstanding job, and I would like to thank everyone that helped us in any way shape or form. Admiral Peary continues to shine, and we don’t have to take a back seat to any other vocational school in the state.
Preliminary Competition results:
